This is a neat exfoliator. I like that the pocket folds over to secure the soap as you use it. You get TWO too!
I like it more then a standard/modern razor and more cost effective in the long run, though this is my first experience with a safety razor I’ve noticed no razor burn anywhere and very few ingrown hairs and that’s only when I forget to go with the grain for the hair first and only on my bikini area. It’s a little bit of a learning curve and it takes a little longer but for a cleaner and much less irritated shave I find it to be worth it. Plus the fact that it’s zero waste appeases my inner tree hugger. Just do some research on how to shave with a safety razor before using it if your new to it, it’s quite heavy too which is very nice.
Me gusto mucho, muy sólida, muy pesada, se siente muy bien, para afeitar se siente suave, el mecanismo es de rosca. Por el precio me parece que es una excelente compra !
It feels quality and i can’t wait to shave all the time with this. Let’s stop using plastic.
Received razor today in the mail after 2 days of ordering and that alone was pleasing. This is my first attempt/ownership of a non disposable razor and I am NEVER going back. Love the quality of the razor and the weight and ergonomics of it are on point. This is the closest shave I’ve had since I tried waxing and I didn’t cut myself at all! Very simple and easy to use. Kept it at the angle the instructions pointed out and it was smooth sailing from there out. Def recommend
I've wanted a safety razor for years and finally decided to take the plunge. There's definitely a learning curve, even with installing the blade, but it has been the closest and best shave I've had in a while. No more cartridges or disposables going to the landfill.
Take it slow and steady in a nice warm bath. I got a few nicks when I got impatient, but nothing serious.
I love the idea of not having to buy a razer all the time and my mom grew up on these types of razers so I know she will love this. This beautiful color and comes with extra blades and perfect size if you are traveling. Great purchase will be buying one for myself
Double edged razor works well when I let the whiskers on my neck get too long for the Mach3 razors to get.
Gets longer whiskers better, but isn't quite as close or as comfortable as the Mach3s.
Fat wooden handle is easier to control than the thinner metal ones on other double-edged razors. Looks nice.
Would buy again.
I made the switch to old school safety razors about 7-8 years ago and never looked back. My previous handle was a Merkur style with a butterfly opening. But over the past few months one side was becoming a bit more "scratchy" than the other. It never cut me, but it was noticibly more uncomfortable than the other side.
So over the Christmas holiday I decided to treat myself to a new handle. I'll admit I mostly bought this one because it looked cool.
When it arrived I was initially disappointed to discover that it was not a butterfly-style opener but the very old school kind where you unscrew the top altogether to switch the blades. But after a few moments I had figured it out.
That's where the disappointment ended. I've been using it for over a week now and it's probably the best handle I've ever used. It's got a thick, grippy bamboo handle with a nice weight to it and the shave is as smooth as you can imagine. I love the fact that this technology was perfected a hundred years ago and they've been trying to trick us into new versions ever since.
I ordered another 100 pack of blades as well. Last time I ordered Astras and that lasted me nearly 5 years. This time I got a variety pack which is worth it for the array of old school packaging alone. But this was I'm hoping to find my new favorite brand of blades.
If you're new to safety razors I'd say definitely take the plunge. They're cheap, reliable and give a great shave. Don't worry about all the accoutrements either. I initially did the whole thing with the badger hair brush and the old timey shave soap. Fun but not necessary. I just use a Barbasol style shaving cream and change my blades every 7-10 shaves. (I have pretty light facial hair so I can sometimes skip a day without anyone noticing, especially in our current mask wearing era LOL).
I would boil the pouch before use (because you never know).
Slip the soap in, and suds up! Super easy and exfoliates well.
I just got my 50 count of replacement blades and I couldn't be happier. I won't have to buy blades for awhile! Even with shaving often (legs, under arms, and brazilian), these blades with last me for probably 2 years. The price per blade is awesome, and I like the safe packaging. I thoroughly clean my blade after every use to make it last as long as possible.
I love it! The simplicity of this razor says it all! Now, I'll enjoy shaving for the rest of my life! Thank you!
Really easy to clean the blade while your using it so you don’t get all the build up that disposables get, and I got less irritation after shaving compared to disposable ones, and I actually ended up getting cut fewer times than I did with disposables. Worth the initial cost and after the first purchase each blade is actually cheaper than a package of disposables so over time you’re making your money back.
Are lovely!! Works great!
This product is a great introduction to first time wet shavers.

i purchased one of these razors about a year ago and it is the best thing i have ever done. the shave is so much nicer and cleaner and now i save so much money compared to buying razors from the store every week
I threw away all my old razors this one is the best and you don't have to use so much pressure or you will cut yourself tbh I get a closer shave and no ingrown hairs now!
Very smooth and durable. great price.
It’s actually a really good razor. I did cut myself a few times the first time using it but it was like a small paper cut. It’s very easy to use and will definitely be more cost effective. It’s also really heavy and feels expensive.
Beautiful razor and beautifully packaged.
At 65 years old this will be my first DE razor and I'm excited to go use it.
Also happy that they included some blades in the package.
I don't shave a lot as it is but I hope this will decrease the amount of waste in our landfill.
